Delivery & Support

We do not build it and walk away

A person handing keys to someone else

A project may have an end date. The technology you depend on usually does not.

That is why we think about delivery and support as two parts of the same responsibility.

When we build software, automation, integrations, security capabilities, or operational processes, we are not only thinking about whether they work today. We are thinking about who will depend on them tomorrow, how they will be maintained, what happens when something changes, and how quickly someone can understand what needs attention.

Support begins with how we build it.

Delivery with tomorrow in mind

A successful engagement should solve the problem in front of you without creating another problem behind it.

During delivery, we consider how the solution will operate after the engagement is complete. That means thinking about maintainability, security, documentation, monitoring, ownership, dependencies, and continuity while the work is being designed and built.

We want the people who inherit what we deliver to understand what it does, why it exists, how it works, and what to do when something changes.

The goal is not simply to reach the finish line.

The goal is to leave you with something worth operating after we get there.

Code you can depend on

Software and automation quickly become part of how a business operates.

An integration moves information between systems. An automation eliminates a manual process. A portal becomes part of a daily workflow. Over time, people begin depending on those capabilities without thinking about the code behind them.

We do think about the code behind them.

Dependencies change. APIs change. Security requirements evolve. Platforms are updated. Business processes change. Something that worked perfectly when it was delivered can require attention months or years later.

We design with that reality in mind.

Where we are responsible for supporting what we build, our job is to help keep it secure, maintainable, understandable, and useful as the environment around it changes.

Support with context

The person helping you should not have to rediscover your environment every time you need support.

Good support starts with context.

We document what we build, the decisions behind it, the systems it depends on, and the purpose it serves. That gives our team a better starting point when something needs attention and helps your team understand the solution they rely upon.

When you contact us, the goal should not be to spend the first hour reconstructing how everything works.

The goal should be to understand what changed and help you move forward.

Built to change

Technology changes. Your business will too.

We expect the systems around our work to evolve, which is why we try to avoid solutions that depend on one person remembering how everything fits together.

Good architecture, clear ownership, useful documentation, sensible automation, and maintainable code make change easier.

That matters when a vendor changes an API. It matters when someone leaves the company. It matters when a security requirement changes. And it matters when your business grows beyond what the original solution was designed to handle.

We cannot eliminate change.

We can build so change is easier to manage.

Security does not end at delivery

Security is not something we add during the final review.

We consider access, data, dependencies, credentials, logging, configuration, and other security requirements throughout delivery. Once something is operating, those considerations continue as part of maintaining and supporting it.

That approach reflects the same principles behind ISO/IEC 27001: understand what matters, identify risk, establish responsibility, protect what needs protecting, monitor what is happening, and continually improve.

We help customers build that discipline into their security programs.

We expect it from ourselves too.

Clear ownership

One of the easiest ways for technology to become a problem is for everyone to assume someone else is taking care of it.

We want ownership to be clear | If something belongs to someone else, we should be able to help identify that quickly.

During an engagement, we identify what Trygg is responsible for, what the customer is responsible for, and where third party providers are involved. As the engagement moves into ongoing support, those responsibilities should remain understandable.

Clarity is part of support | If something needs attention, you should know who to call.

A relationship beyond the project

We want customers to call us when something breaks.

We would rather they call us before it does.

Support is not only about responding to problems. It is also about understanding what is changing, identifying opportunities to improve what we have built together, and helping customers make good decisions about what comes next.

Sometimes that means fixing something. Sometimes it means improving it. Sometimes it means recommending that nothing needs to change at all.

Our role is to help you take care of the technology you depend on.

From delivery to dependability

We measure delivery by more than whether the project was completed.

Did we solve the problem?

Can people understand what we built?

Can it be supported?

Can it change?

Is it secure?

Can the business depend on it?

Those questions shape how we approach every engagement.

Because delivering something that works is important.

Delivering something you can continue to depend on is better.
