Our founder
Jeff Blackman founded Trygg. His LinkedIn profile is the public reference for his work. He is a Certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI), Certificate No. 490411, qualified January 2026 through January 2029 through TÜV SÜD.
Jeff has a detailed record of implementing projects and programs, and of setting up new business capabilities, at Fortune 500 companies including Oshkosh Corporation, Kimberly-Clark, and Southwest Airlines, to name a few.
Jeff has also worked with over 150 small businesses in Northeastern Wisconsin. That work included building custom websites, learning and understanding their business goals, and driving business to them through e-commerce and internet technologies.
How Trygg earns money and grows
Customers pay an initial implementation fee and a recurring subscription fee to use Trygg.
We grow by attracting new customers, retaining existing customers, and selling additional compliance frameworks to customers as their needs expand. These optional additions increase the customer's subscription fee while helping them manage more compliance requirements within the same platform.
This model combines implementation revenue with recurring subscription revenue and opportunities to expand revenue from existing customer relationships.
