Terms of Use

Built on Mutual Trust

Trygg helps organizations run an information security management system. That work involves security, technology, and information people expect to be handled with care.

These terms cover itrygg.com, including the pages, a demo request, a partner inquiry, Community, and a look at the demo portal.

Community is a public conversation Trygg hosts. It is not a customer portal, and it is not certification advice. Trygg is not a certification body. Do not post customer names, audit findings, passwords, or live company evidence. We may hide a post or disable an account that breaks these terms.

A paid engagement, a portal subscription, and any nondisclosure agreement are controlled by the signed agreement. Where that agreement differs from this page, the signed agreement controls.

By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in line with these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

What this website is for

The site explains the product and the way an engagement can run. It is how you ask for a demo, talk about a partnership, or ask about a job.

  • Trygg is portal software, an implementation engagement, and support after delivery.
  • Trygg is not a certification body, a law firm, or an insurer.
  • The demo portal is a sample. Do not put live secrets, customer records, or production files into a public form or a demo.

Confidentiality and Responsible Use

A conversation or a demonstration may include information that is not meant for the public. Use it only for the purpose it was shared.

Trygg treats customer information the same way: according to the contract and the Privacy notice.

Portal demos follow a mutual NDA when we agree to one. That NDA controls the demonstration.

Intellectual Property

Looking at Trygg does not make the software, the designs, the methods, or the writing yours.

  • Do not copy the product to build a competing service.
  • Do not reverse engineer, resell, or repackage Trygg materials unless we agree in writing.
  • We will treat your materials the same way.

Ethical Use

Use Trygg in a way that keeps the trust the product is built on. We can close access when use threatens that trust, our systems, or a customer.

  • Do not try to break into a system, or into information you are not allowed to see.
  • Do not send malware, bypass a security control, or pretend a program is certified when it is not.
  • Do not use the site or a portal for fraud.

Customer Data

You keep ownership of the information you give Trygg.

You give us permission to use it only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service, and to meet the contract and the law.

Personal information on this website is described in the Privacy notice. Information inside a customer portal follows that portal’s privacy policy.

Delivery and support

An engagement has an end date. The system you depend on usually does not. We build with support in mind, and we stay with what we deliver when that is the agreement.

How that works is on Delivery and Support. The contract states the hours, the deliverables, and the support you actually bought.

Services and Availability

We work to keep the site and the portal available. No service can be promised to run without interruption.

A page or a portal may be down for maintenance, a security event, a third-party outage, or something outside our control.

Service levels, warranties, and remedies live in the customer agreement when there is one.

Security and Compliance

Trygg is built so leaders can see whether an ISO/IEC 27001 management system is actually running. The portal does not certify you by itself.

  • Certification is a decision by an independent certification body about your organization.
  • A clean audit depends on your scope, your people, your processes, and the evidence you keep operating.
  • Unless a written agreement says otherwise, use of Trygg does not guarantee certification, regulatory compliance, a finished audit, or that an incident will not happen.

Third Party Services

The portal reads systems the customer already runs, such as identity, email, endpoints, and backups. Those systems keep their own terms, privacy practices, and uptime.

Trygg is not responsible for a change or an outage in a third-party service outside our control. This website is hosted on Cloudflare, and form email is carried by Microsoft.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Trygg is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the website or services.

Additional warranties, limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, and remedies applicable to customers are defined in the agreements governing those services.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Trygg, our services, and applicable requirements evolve.

Continued use of the applicable website or service following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. Material changes affecting contracted services will be handled according to the applicable customer agreement.

Questions and Good Faith

Not every situation can be anticipated by a Terms of Use page.

When something is unclear, we expect questions, conversation, and good faith from both sides. That is how we approach our relationships with customers, partners, employees, and the people evaluating Trygg.

We protect what you entrust to us.

We ask you to protect what we entrust to you.
